True Color

True color is a narrative puzzle-platformer game, where you complete levels to regain something you've lost.

What Is this game about

The game is build around the theme "The cost of running away".  It is a short narrative puzzle-platformer where you regain lost emotions by solving symbolic challenges tied to specific memories.

• Each level is themed around a color, feeling, and object 
• Platforming mechanics evolve with each feeling you recover
• Between puzzles, short story segments reveal memories, regrets, and quiet healing

The game itself is made for Live2Dev GameJam Indonesia in collaboration with Vtuber Raveanne, Quiver Rannette, and Njess

Vtuber pick: Quiver Rannette (but if possible, played by all)

How to play

• Move with WASD / arrow keys
• Jump using space
• Press E to interact with objects
• Each level, you are given a new color, and a new mechanic
• You can change the colors by using mouse 2 button (right click)
• You can recolor blank tiles by using mouse 1 button (left click) 
• Recolor tiles to use their respective mechanics and complete the puzzle
• If you find yourself stuck or can't do nothing, press R to reset the level

P.S.

The game have (a lot of) bugs where you might encounter, such as:

• Got yeeted into space. Solution : easy, just reset the level by holding R
  
• Michael Jackson style moonwalk. Solution : go the the opposite direction, and then go back
• Stuck between blocks. Solution : Just reset the level by holding R  :D
  
• Speed block (the yellow one) not working. Solution : It's working, but only for 0.5 sec after you touch it.
• Trigger block (switch block) triggered twice or not even triggered. This can happen because you either stand on the edge of the blocks or you press it when it hasn't flipped yet (after flipping the gravity by touching the red block). Solution : stand on the middle of the trigger block and wait for it to flip (if any)
  
• Can't get the the topmost switch in reverse gravity (level 2 and 4). Solution : You can bump it with your head
• Teleport block teleporting you way back in the level. Solution : It's not a bug, it's how we design it, you just have to be a little smarter :p
• Choppy scene transition
• And many more that we don't know about

Also, it seems like there's some wrongly placed narrative, mainly at the end of second and third level (yellow bear chair and blue teddy bear).  It says "I was mad at everything. I even ruined the flower she had. The flower that she love so much. And that made me hate myself" Where it should be "And do you remember that chair dad made. We would always fight over who get to sit on it. But then dad would scold us both and no one gets to sit on it. That was a fun time" on the yellow level, and "You said you bought it from far away. The place where he come from is beautiful. And I hope that I could see it for myself one day." on the blue level
